The Saving Water Partnership, a group of local utilities that fund water conservation programs in Seattle and King County, is offering rebates of up to $75 for purchasing and installing the most efficient Premium WaterSense Toilets. They are also offering $30 rebates for all other WaterSense models.
Toilets are the main source of water use in the home, accounting for nearly 30 percent of residential indoor water use. WaterSense-labeled toilets use less than 1.28 gallons per flush, and Premium WaterSense toilets use less than 1.06 gpf, compared to the 3.5 gallons per flush or more used by toilets installed prior to 1994.
It is estimated that most families can lower utility bills by $50-$200 per year by making the switch. Learn more on the Saving Water Partnership website then call us to get an estimate.
