This Sunday is Easter! Although it remains to be seen whether it will be a great day for an outdoor egg hunt, we have some tips to help keep the day healthy and fun no matter what the weather.

  • Use natural dyes for Easter Eggs
  • Avoid over-packaged easter baskets and too much sugar by creating a scavenger hunt that ends in special bunny-shaped biscuits or a bunny pear salad.
  • Skip the plastic “grass” and either skip the easter basket stuffing or use natural grass clippings, moss or fallen flower blossoms.
  • Reuse those plastic eggs! Fill them with flower seeds, baby carrots, pretty rocks and shells or other favorite fruits and veggie bites.
Spring provides a plethora of natural treats and Easter is a great time to start celebrating! Have other ideas to share? Post them on our Facebook page or send us a message.
