The excitement is already building, and theNorthwest EcoBuilding Guild is expecting a full house at this year’s 10x10x10 Green Building Slam at Kane Hall!

Laura is the chair of this year’s event and promises that it will be filled with fast-paced, mind-blowing talks about remarkable green building projects in the Greater Seattle area.

Roger Faris (best known in Seattle for his popular home repair advice segment on KUOW Public Radio and his home-repair column for the Seattle Press) will emcee – introducing the Seattle area architects and builders as they showcase their deep green projects, including home remodels, nonprofit housing projects and live-work spaces. Cheer them on as they show behind the scenes accounts of their successes, lessons and surprises along the way!

Drinks and delicious appetizers will be provided by Twelve Baskets Catering. The event will feature a fun raffle with some fabulous prizes donated by local businesses.

The Northwest EcoBuilding Guild is a 501(c)(3) community of builders, designers, suppliers, homeowners, and partners concerned with ecological building in the Pacific Northwest. The Guild empowers people through education to transform the built environment for long term sustainability.
