This attic bed room in North Seattle was in desperate need of renovations and redesign. The Mighty House Construction team was to the rescue! The stand alone, low-functioning bedroom was transformed into an incredible master suite including the installation of a master suite bathroom with a steam shower, insulation, a ductless mini-split heat pump, refinished hard wood flooring, and adorned with bright colors. We also added a functional closet space.
What used to be a stand-alone, low functioning attic bedroom, was hardly ever used due to poor insulation and heating efficiency. As a result, Mighty House Construction team installed a ductless mini-split heat pump (DHP) as a great energy-saving solution for heating larger open spaces.
The team also converted the pre-existing, nonfunctional square closets into four more functional spaces to provide the room with more floor space. The room was completed with refinished wood flooring and brightened with lovely cherry paint colors.
A master bathroom was also installed to make the home a two-bathroom house. The team used an antique dresser as a starting point for the bath vanity and made two new custom cabinets. The master bath was also furnished with a beautiful closet tub and steam shower.
This Attic Master Suite Conversion Project was a successful transformation for this family’s home in North Seattle.
